If your visit falls on a Saturday, you’ll also have the chance to experience a vibrant local market full of life and tradition.
Peguche Waterfall

Here, you will walk along a trail surrounded by native forest until you reach a majestic 18-meter waterfall, considered sacred by the local communities, where you can feel its energy and discover its ancestral significance.

THIRD DAY - COTOPAXI

We’ll make a stop at a traditional flower farm in Tanicuchí, where you’ll step into the greenhouses and discover the process behind the production of export-quality roses. Surrounded by color and fragrance, you’ll get a closer look at the skilled craftsmanship behind some of the world’s most renowned flowers.
Limpiopungo Lagoon
Our first stop in the park will be at this peaceful lagoon, perfect for an acclimatization hike. You’ll enjoy the serenity of the páramo, observe diverse birdlife, and capture stunning views of Cotopaxi and the majestic Rumiñahui massif.
José Rivas Shelter
Get ready for a challenging hike as you ascend toward the refuge, an experience that brings a true sense of adventure. Once there, you can enjoy a hot chocolate (not included) to warm up while taking in the panoramic view.
Dropp Off - at Otavalo Hotel
The tour concludes with one last view of the majestic Cotopaxi volcano before returning to Quito.
